My family and I have lived here almost a year now. We lived here 8 months and then moved back in a month ago. This place is clean, safe (thanks to the courtesy security), and affordable. The rooms are better than a studio apartment and the staff is amazing and kind. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for either a short term or long term stay.

This is the third time staying here, its great while looking for a new place. The pool is nice and the kids love it. When checking in this time we seen some roaches, I told the office and we were moved to a new room. The staff is friendly and the grounds are kept clean, almost like were on vacation

Myself, my son and my daughter lived at the Budget Inn Suites on Indian School Road and 7th Avenue for 2 months. We moved out on September 14th 2025, and if needed we will stay there again when we permanently return to Phoenix. We had an older one bedroom apartment there but it was still in pretty good shape!! Also, I want to refute the negative reviews on here because my apartment had ZERO cockroaches and ZERO bedbugs!! Before I moved to the budget inn suites, I had read the bad reviews but my cousin suggested I come and check the place out myself before moving in. He suggested I check out the place for myself because he mentioned to me that sometimes people get kicked out of places for either not respecting the property, for being noisy or just for not paying the rent and they get pissed off when they get kicked out and then they go and leave bad reviews that are not true. I'm glad I checked it out myself and I was pleased with what I saw. Raquel the security guard is very helpful in explaining the way it is around there, I never did meet the other security guard that they have there. The laundry room is so clean and the washers are cleaned every Wednesday which explains why our clothes were always so clean and smelling fresh. I've lived at other apartments where the washers aren't kept up and the clothes don't smell clean although when using a good detergent. They keep it beautiful outside too. They have landscapers out there every week, I also had such awesome neighbors, that I miss!! Dee is very nice and she was the lady that usually tended to us when we needed anything at the office like our mail or to load up the laundry card or pay for WiFi. Dee patiently explains and answers any questions you have. Budget Inn Suites really felt like home and we miss it. Everybody in the office was really cool. The only thing I wish budget inn suites would change is to include WiFi as a courtesy because paying every 7 days for each device gets very pricey. All in all, Budget Inn Suites is a great place. That's the experience myself and my family had there and again, yes, if needed, we would go back. Thank you, Dee and everyone in the office. Thank you for making us feel at home. P.S. the reason the location has four stars from me is because of the extreme amount of homeless people that hang out in that area, and not all of them are respectful. But that is not budget inn suites fault. ~Yvonne

The staff is absolutely amazing! I'm not going to name any names because every single person I've encountered is amazing. The entire front office staff, the management team, the entire security and the entire maintenance team has been absolutely wonderful to me. Any issue that I have had they take care of it swiftly. Follow the rules, respect your neighbors and take care of your financial responsibilities and you'll love this place. If you're having a rough day just go for a swim while your doing laundry. I've honestly had no issues that they haven't taken care of.

I was actually very surprised, I was terrified to stay here with my two small children because i had heard bad things about the "budget suites" and the area. There are for sure some strange people living and wondering the complex late late at night, but it actually VERY quite!! the pool and the grounds are kept very clean the front desk girls are very sweet and helpful. I'm not the type to socialize with neighbors and i suggest in this complex you don't allow your kids to play outside with no supervision (although i don't believe that is ok ever anywhere and DEFINITELY not here) there are alot of kids 3-8 years of age in the complex that are not supervised at all and are playing out after dark they use bad language and get loud. Besides that the complex is kept up and quite! the pool and Jacuzzi are great! the bbq grills are nice and my husband and i use them often. The inside of the units are nice its very convenient for temporary housing because of them being furnished and including all utilities phone and cable, u might want to bring a spliter if u get a 2 bedroom because theres no cable cord in the second bedroom, also might want to bring some foam pads for on top of the mattresses because the beds are almost like sleeping on a box spring! lol but again i was impressed compared to what i expected its a great place to call your own while your in transition!

I was suprised at how big the rooms actually are. The room came with a full size kitchen including microwave and an upgraded hdtv. I had no issues with any bugs in my room. The swimming pool here is cool and refreshing especially when its 107° out. The ladies in the office have been very pleasant to deal with. I even received a phone call asking if I was pleased with everything. For the area and the price I think this place is not so bad. I would stay here again in the future.

Not a bad place to stay. I lived here for a year when I was going through a difficult financial time. The front office staff was very nice, and the grounds well kept. And it was very quiet too. Great location close to the light rail and downtown. The internet was a little slow, but the free utilities and cable make up for it. For a while there was a big problem with roaches, but they've done a good job taking care of the place. Good place to stay sort term but no more than a year.

I'm currently staying here until the home I'm buying is ready to move in. The area isn't the best. There might be some questionable people. The room It's self is pretty nice. I have not seen any roaches. The a.c in my unit works perfect. I personally haven't had any problems. I plan to stay my 2 weeks and keep to myself!

I read the reviews before leaving Cali for Phoenix in July. I really expected that the place would be run down and a little crime ridden. However to my pleasure, the room we got was very clean, new appliances and no bugs. The staff is quite friendly mostly. I'm in bldg 2 and so far my neighbors are not druggies or otherwise. I have heard that some of the rear bldg s do fit the stereotypes although I don't go looking for it. So if you stay here try to get a room in the front bldg's.
